Birthday run

This is what happens when you go running with friends on your birthday!

birthday run

My absolute favourite comment about this photo was from a friend on Facebook, who told me that the comedy boobs should go on my front next time….

I’m still running, and the niggle that I was worrying about hasn’t worsened, but I have reduced the mileage a bit. I’m also running only 3 times per week, rather than 4. I’m doing the Thursday night session with the swimming club, which I’m loving, as it’s a real tough one! And I’m still cycling everywhere.

I also have 32 year-11 reports to write, so no more blogging today!….

Action shot. Note the flashing right arm. That was a present from my “secret buddy” at school. What a fab little gift….

  1. Today was a good day. I managed to run six km pain free…. and to enjoy running at St James Park again πŸ™‚ It had been a while since I had been out running and I missed it dearly. I can’t quite explain but I felt free, flawless and happy and it was just like coming home. Let’s not get carried away and obviously I’ll still be going to the gym but I think this is progress… πŸ™‚ (and I am smiling like a madwoman) Happy birthday! xo xo
