Only two runs this week. The “cows” run yesterday, and a good tough run with the club on Thursday (ran to Eaton Park, 4 x 1km, ran back to Waitrose). As before, someone kept with me for all the running, including the reps. They’re really so supportive. Must actually join up this week.

Usual cycle commuting, and a good sprint session tonight at swimming.

Weight had dipped down to -4.5kg on Monday, but back up to -2.5kg today. Really must stop obsessing about it! The general trend is downwards, and my BP is decreasing. Both these things are important. The daily fluctuations aren’t.

Next week, I have a cholesterol test, and I’m really hoping it’ll come out okay.

week 5: total miles run = 8     weight = -2.5kg     other stuff: cycle/ trailer commute (a bit less than normal, as J did two nursery pick-ups), and Sunday night swim session (sprint set)

week 4: total miles run = 9     weight = -3.5kg     other stuff: cycle/ trailer commute, and Sunday night swim session (sprint set)

week 3: total miles run = 4     weight = -0.5kg     other stuff: Sunday night swim session (sprint set) (very little commuting this week, as I’ve been away, but lots of running up and down stairs with a heavy rucksack at the station)

week 2: total miles run = 9.5     weight = -1.5kg     other stuff: cycle/ trailer commute, some yoga and Sunday night swim session (sprint set)

week 1: total miles run = 9.5     weight = -1.5kg    other stuff: cycle/ trailer commute, some yoga and Sunday night swim session (sprint set)
